- emphasis on correct form and efficient technique for all 8 locomotor skills
- games using all 8 locomotor skills
Unit 3: Refinement of Object-Handling Skills and Applications
- three throws: underhand, overhand, backhand
- pushing skills, bouncing, dribbling
- receiving skills with emphasis on adjustments to environment
- striking skills: hand, with objects, etc.
- kicking skills: from stationary ball position to moving ball; from directional movement to controlled dribble
- bean bags manipulation
- various round ball manipulation
- various size ball manipulation
- hoop manipulation
- review and refinement of jump rope technique
- parachute games
Unit 4: Physical Fitness TestingNOTE: All records are maintained from Grade K. Individual student scores are used for assessment and evaluation purposes.
